Good morning lovelies,

Today I am taking part in my very first DT at Sparkle Challenge and I am sooo excited! Its early morning here, and fall has truly fallen, with the leaves everywhere out side, its so very pretty! I love October, its such a magical month!

Lili of the Valley Challenge 66

Hello everyone,

Tonight has been so much fun here thinking of an idea for Lili of the Valleys "Untraditional Christmas" challenge! What a tricky one! I pondered, asked the fairies, checked with the pixies and finally decided upon the idea of the nymphs, and have come up with this little monochrome card! Hope you like it, why dont you join in with their challenge to, you have till 6pm tomorrow to get your card up on their site!

To make this card I used my copic pens to shade and colour, and then went a little crazy with some handmade flowers, and some blooms from Prima.

Well I must be off, I need my beauty sleep and there is so much to do tomorrow, I need to make sure I sleep well! Night all,

Cupcake Challenge #110

Yaaawnn! It is me just before I go to bed, my last challenge of the day, it has been such a busy week!

The last fabulous challenge of the day is with the very lovely Cupcake Craft Challenge blog and their theme for this challenge is Pink and Brown, which I love. Very warm and soft colours, perfect for card making!

My entry this time is a little different to my others, I have stamped Tilda only in brown, and not coloured her in! What do you think? Does it work? I am never too sure when I stray away from my copics or watercolour pencils!! She looks a little pale in the photo, but don't worry, she looks a little perkier in real life!

Well, I must be off, its an early start for me tomorrow, and the pixies never like a lie in (no matter how much I try to persuade them) so I shall say goodnight and I hope to see you soon,

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #65

Good evening magical people,

Tonights fantastical challenge comes from the wonderful Magnolia Down Under challenge blog. Focussing on those wonderful Magnolias (who look very much like some of my fairies who live with me here in the forest, particularly a mischievous little friend of mine called Willow Blossom, who loves to sprinkle sparkles all over my work when I am not looking, not that I mind too much!) and the theme is Flowers and Lace.

Well I had no choice but to take part, it was too fun to miss out, so here is my entry!

Isn't Bunny Tilda cute? I know its not Easter, but there is always a place in my heart for a bunny at any time of year!

Friday Sketchers Challenge #121

Good morning everyone, how are you all today? I hope you are well and enjoying all that lovely Autumn has to offer. I am watching the leaves blow around the trees today and its is very pretty with all the browns, reds, oranges and greens, and so I am very pleased to post this challenge from the very fantastic Friday Sketchers - using Autumn colours and Indian Tilda, its two of my favourite topics!

I used Bazzill Paper, Magnolia Indian Tilda, Copic pens, My Minds Eye "Lush" paper, red liquid pearls (which I loooove to use), lots of gems, hand punched flower and lots of glimmer mist too! Ah, it was fun. The fairies loved it too so I was pleased with that.

New Digi Stamps!

Hello one and all,

What a lovely afternoon it is here in the magical forest, I can hear the pixies playing behind me and the twinkling sound of the river nearby, a fairy could really spread her wings and go out for a fly on a day like today!

However, I have been very busy making some christmas goodies, and look what I have been using! A fab and fun brand new Digi stamp. This lovely little robin is called Toffee, and he is part of a lovely new range from Sparkle Dreams. Along with his naughty little brother Truffle, he is one of 10 new Christmas digistamps being released from 1st October on their challenge blog.

The first image, as shown here on the card is of Toffee in the snow and will be a free download for the launch of the blog! So pop on over there on the 1st October to get your cute little stamp!! Oh how exciting!

I have used a lovely little Tilda stamp from Magnolia, Bo Bunny papers, Bazzill Bling in Green and Blue as the optional extra, sparkles, flowers, chalk ink and my beloved copics to colour in! I stamped the sentiment using a little freebie I got some time ago, and I was most pleased to use it as I had forgotten about it... must be all the fairy dust clogging up my thinking cap!

Watercolour Pencils

Good afternoon all,

I thought I would pop on here a little card I made recently after spending some time being taught by the wonderful Francois Read, who designs and teaches for Woodware. She is a very talented artist and a fantastic papercrafter, and I thoroughly enjoyed her classes!

This card is inspired by her newest collection. I stamped using Memento ink in Potters Clay and then used my beloved watercolour pencils to jazz it up, colour it in and make it look suitably ethereal! Thanks Francoise, you are an inspiration to me!

Colouring Is Such Fun

I do love colouring in! Whittling the hours away, with a Copic Ciao pen in hand, a small pixie next to me helping and a Magnolia Stamped image in front of me is the best ever way to spend a wintery Sunday.

It was very cold here today, and after going out to jump around and have fun in the deep white snow with my friends, I settled down to an afternoon in front of the fire crafting away.

I used my luscious Copics - my preferred means of colouring - to create some great effects, blending colours and then using a white ink pen to highlight and give more depth to the project. Today, my favourite colour to use was pastel blue, it is so beautiful to work with. It reminded me of the colour of the snow just as the night started to fall. Have you ever noticed the colour it is at that time? Its just luminous! I might try to colour a whole blue scene tomorrow....why don't you have a try at colouring a Magnolia stamp (or any stamp you like!) in just one range of one colour... it gives a stunning effect!

Well, my dears, I must be off, one of my aforementioned little pixies, Red Leaf, is here right now and he is calling me to go, so go I must. But I shall post my efforts shortly!

My First Photos!

So here are my very first photo posts! After some snowy days in my town, I was unable to go out on magical duties, so decided to stay in and make lots of cards! What fun! I used Christmas Party Tilda on each of the cards, trying to make each one look really different. As Christmas is over, I have used them for other lovely occasions coming up, and don't the Magnolias work well?! One of many reasons why I love them so much is because of how versatile they are!

To create these, I used Copic Ciao pens, Bazzill Cardstock, Blueberry Hill papers and some ribbons, flowers, ribbon, brads and a Valentines stamp from Hero Arts. Oh and of course a sprinkling of fairy dust (glitter!) Ah well, thats all for one day, must be off to do some fairy cake baking!
